Letter from Salma Hayek

Dear Pipin:

I have heard many stories in my life, but few have moved me the way yours
does. Not since FRIDA have I been so passionate about seeing a life brought to the
screen.

I grew up in Coatzacaolcos, Veracruz, listening to the ocean, and I have
always been haunted by its powerful mystery. To me, your story is a celebration of
love between two people, and between man and the sea.

Your and Audrey's stunning minds pushed the limits of biology, made history,
and redefined who we are as human beings. A movie based on your lives will be
thought-provoking and inspiring. It will remind people that we all have the
potential to transcend even our own bodies.

I would be honored to be a part of making sure that the world is affected by
your story, in the way that it has affected me. At first I dreamt of producing
it, but now I share this dream with every single producer with decent taste.
Nothing would make me happier than to play the role of Audrey, to which I
would commit fully. It would be a personal triumph to embody some of the
adventures, challenges and dramas this magical woman experienced.
This would definitely be a role that I would cherish forever.

Yours Sincerely,

Salma Hayek
